Kim
For Kim, yoga was love at first Savasana over a decade ago. It was both the most awkward and incredibly peaceful experience within the span of an hour she had ever had. After dealing with chronic pain and mental health issues, she knew that it was the power of breath, movement, presence, and self-inquiry that would lead to her healing and liberation. She received her 200-hr YTT certification in 2014, left her full time law office job, and began her life as a full time traveling yoga instructor for over 3 years. In 2017 she completed her 300-hr advanced training.
Always a student, Kim has also completed courses in Core-Strength Vinyasa, Thai Yoga, Yin Yoga, Breathwork, and various meditation & yogic breathing practices. Students can expect Kim to teach from a place of intuition and authenticity, offering loving guidance through discomfort and bliss, and an opportunity to show up and meet yourself exactly where you're at on your path.
Jenna
This native New Yorker came to yoga over a decade ago, finding a practice that was the perfect complement to her training as a triathlete. After suffering a knee injury, life took an unexpected shift. Yoga took a front seat to her life, as she dove into the history of the practice and the more meditative and ancient magical aspects. Students come to Jenna's classes to find moments of peace while enjoying creative sequencing, good music and a healthy dose of humor. Jenna offers her students a path to experiential learning with a well-rounded practice and meditation. Through her continuing studies and practice, she strives to help others turn inward, outward, onward (and downward and upward!)
Kristen
Kristen is a Texas-raised yogi, dancer, and dog mom. She was introduced to yoga in college as a way to complement her love of dance. After experiencing the joy, comfort, and stillness yoga brought to her life, she felt called to share this transformative practice with others. As a 200-hr registered yoga teacher, Kristen now aims to inspire and empower her students by sharing tools to support their minds and bodies both on and off the mat.
LAUREL
Growing up as a dancer, Laurel has always felt drawn to movement as a form of expression. She decided to dive further into the practice of yoga at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to stay active. She found that the practice of yoga has so many layers that she was eager to peel back. Laurel felt called to obtain her 200-hr YTT at Wild Heart Yoga in the Fall of 2021. She aims to extend her learnings of powerful yogic philosophy, mindfulness, asana sequencing, human connection, and spirituality to her students. Laurel holds a safe space where individuals are free to explore poses and the physical and mental sensations that accompany them.
Kate
When Kate first stepped onto the mat over a decade ago, she never imagined this practice quietly would redirect her entire path in life. Her classes are creative, fun, and down-to-earth, and intended to empower students with the knowledge to better understand their bodies in an accessible way.
Her yoga studies have included a fusion of in-depth anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, as well as myofascial release and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
LESLIE
Originally from Alabama with an accent to prove it, Leslie has now been in Austin 20 years. As a former gymnast her curiosity sparked when saw a class full of handstands through a window in her old gym. Leslie dabbled on and off the mat for years. As life happened and her practice deepened, she noticed she was showing up for the stuff between the ears. Being aware of her body was easy, the mind was a whole other animal. Yoga helped with stress and peace of mind and making peace with a changing body.
Leslie shows up as herself, authentic and open. Building community is important to her. If you’re shy, come to her class - she’ll make sure you make some new friends. Her playlists keep you motivated and she’s cool if you want to sing and dance.
Lizzy
Lizzy is an Austin transplant from the east coast, and has spent the last four years creating a life she loves in this weird, wonderful city. Lizzy is a licensed therapist, and leans on the mind-body-spirit connection when planning her sequences. You can expect intentional, juicy movement and to leave her classes feeling empowered in your relationship with yourself.
JESSICA
Jessica started practicing 11 years ago after having her first child.
She found yoga to be a rejuvenating therapy for her body and mind.
Her body obviously changed a lot with pregnancy. It was soft and more injury prone with her normal workouts. Yoga helped to strengthen and condition her body, and at the same time, reduce her injuries. She was convinced yoga was the best thing ever post pregnancy and as a staple workout in general.
Jessica took her 200 hour teacher training three years ago and has been teaching ever since. She has loved every minute of her yoga journey and enjoys inspiring and educating others about their practice.
Gigi
Gigi has practiced and taught yoga for over 10 years as an extension of her belief that persistent dedication to the practice of yoga enhances everyone's experience of life. Passionate about living and sharing the wisdom of yoga, Gigi focuses her classes on building inner and outer strength and flexibility through introspection and mindfulness, bringing each student into closer connection with the Truth and Light within themselves.
Allison
Allison considers herself a lifelong learner. Her passion for yoga was sparked during her first pregnancy 9 years ago. Now as a mother of 3 girls, her own sanity is found on the mat. She's been an educator for years, but in different capacities. First as a public school art teacher, a mother and now a yoga teacher and a Birthing from Within Mentor and Doula. She enjoys leading sweaty soulful vinyasa flows as well as guiding momma's to be and postpartum moms through mindful meditations and sweet pre/postnatal flows. Her classes are full of energy and challenging flows, but she always gives her students the guidance to listen to their own bodies and make modifications as necessary. She believes you should meet yourself where you are and grow from there.
Adam
We all have different musculoskeletal structures and Adam’s classes focus on ahiṃsā (the ethical principle of non-harming), to be mindful of how our bodies feel and not how poses look. His classes are crafted to guide you through mindful movements to safely build strength and stability through careful alignment, so you can find the expansive freedom found within.
Practices are stimulating, energizing, and designed for a full-body and mind connection. You can expect an authentic, non-judgmental teaching style; his intention is to help you find your inner wisdom to create a more disciplined, healthy, fun, and spiritually connected life.
Adam received his 200-hr YTT from Wild Heart Yoga and recently completed a 32-hr meditation teacher training.
Zoey
Crystal
Crystal first tried out yoga in high school in a world religions class. During her own roaring 20s was when she got hooked on the way a challenging class made her feel. She learned that when we keep showing up, we are capable of a lot. She attained her first YTT certification at The Little Yoga House in 2016, where she taught kids aerial and family yoga. Since then, she has received her 200 YTT certification from Yoga East Austin and Wild Heart Yoga. Crystal enjoys tapping into that magical moment when one finds the calm in a challenging pose.

Hannah
Hannah has always felt called to hold space for the truth of others. Hannah sequences dynamic flows with emphasis on magic, pranayama, Taoism, and Chinese medicine, all potent teachings of Katonah Yoga. As a labor and delivery nurse, she has led mamas through their sacred experience. Throughout deep existential contemplation; music & movement has been her medicine. Aside from yoga, she loves frolicking in nature, traveling in her van with her pup, and merging with deep bass wubz at music festivals.
