Who is This Training For?

The Art of Assists and Adjusts is for 200 & 300-hour certified yoga teachers who want to

  • Feel confident offering hands-on support in class

  • Move beyond hesitation or overthinking when it comes to touch

  • Learn when to assist, when not to, and how to read the room

  • Offer adjustments that feel supportive, respectful, and clear

  • Teach with presence, intuition, and care while honoring consent

What You’ll Learn

The Art of Assists & Adjusts is an invitation to return to touch as a sacred, skillful, and intentional part of teaching. In a world that became hands-off for a long time, many teachers were asked to pull back from one of the most powerful tools they had. This training creates space to reconnect with that part of your teaching, slowly, thoughtfully, and with care, so touch feels natural, confident, and aligned again.

Throughout the weekend, you’ll learn how to:

  • Offer conscious hands-on assists that feel supportive, respectful, and grounded

  • Understand when to assist, when to hold back, and how to read students in real time

  • Use touch to support stability, ease, and confidence without forcing shape

  • Increase Energetic Awareness: Understand the subtle body and how energy moves through asana, enhancing your ability to guide students beyond the physical practice..

  • Communicate clearly around consent, boundaries, and choice

  • Adjust from presence and intuition, not scripts or fear of “doing it wrong”

  • Feel more comfortable, natural, and confident offering hands-on support in public classes that feel supportive, respectful, and grounded

What to Expect

This training provides an invaluable opportunity to reintegrate these practices with renewed awareness, respect, and confidence, ensuring that every assist is both meaningful and welcome.
